Sports Solutions is a privately held corporation that was officially founded in May, 1984 in Dallas, Texas. The company was founded by its president and owner, Laurie H. Schmidt, with the intent to provide technologically superior products that are beneficial and healing to all people.

Laurie H. Schmidt is a graduate of Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas with a degree in Interior Design. She also received a degree from Myrell Cosmetics in Cosmetic Therapy.

Laurie Schmidt started her first company in 1973. Through Laurie Schmidt Interiors, she designed and furnished many residential and commercial properties for 12 years.

During the 70's and 80's, through Laurie Schmidt Tours, Ms. Schmidt developed total health programs for more than 4,000 people at the Health and Beauty Spa, located in Ixtapan de la Sal in the interior of Mexico. She was responsible for national marketing, advertising, and development of personal health care and beauty regimens for her clients.

As an extension of her tours, she developed various corporate programs emphasizing the many benefits of physical fitness, color therapy, stress management, personal image consultation, and sport-specific body products for personalized use.

In the early 1980's, Ms. Schmidt signed with Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas as a professional model and actress. She appeared in television, film, theater, and musical productions. By using her training in various fields, Sports Solutions, Inc. was born, creating a leadership role in producing specialty products designed for active people and those requiring additional rehydration for their hair and skin.

For the past nineteen years, Sports Solutions has been the leader in developing new markets for its products and, today, the hotel industry, hospitals, surgery centers, nursing homes, and resorts are added to the list of users of this conditioning line of products.

Consequently, Sports Solutions sets the standard for the effectiveness and quality of body care products for the physically active man and woman, and its product lines are the finest known in this industry as well as for the person who needs a little extra help conditioning skin or hair.
