Lids have the "O-Ring" gasket built in to assure an air tight seal. The Life Latch Lid is so easy to seal and so easy to take off -- you can truly seal and reseal your containers easily every time! It's child-resistant and senior-friendly. No tools are required to open these lids -- you just press the latch and twist to open. Ordinary bucket lids are pried off with a special tool and this can cause lid distortion, which can make for a less than perfect seal. The Life Latch buckets and lids are made from Prime Virgin HDPE and are U.N. Certified.
